Changing the Timing
To change the playback timing without changing the keyframes, save your scene in ascii format, then open it in Notepad.
Near the top of the file is a line with the currentUnit command: currentUnit -l centimeter -a degree -t film; Change "film" to "pal", save the file, then reopen it in Maya.
